An individual who didn’t even know him callously remarked, ‘Why don’t you go back to the cotton fields where you belong?’ I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, and I thought to myself, ‘This is 2023. Are you kidding me?’ So, I channeled my anger into something constructive and wrote this song.”
